The winner was a horse called Mandarin, owned by Peggy Hennessy, a member of the family that founded the sponsors. Hennessy Gold Cup Betting: Outright Win/Each Way/Place
The go-to markets for the majority of Hennessy Gold Cup punters are the win and each way markets. Hennessy Gold Cup Betting: Forecasts and Tricasts
The Hennessy Gold Cup more often than not attracts a relatively big field. Picking the winner is usually tough enough, but some punters like to go a step further. Forecasts not only require you to pick the winner, you also need to pick who will finish 2nd. Tricasts are similar, but you need to pick the 1-2-3 in the correct order to win.
