We’d like to see PayPal make a return to FansBet, as this used to be a supported option, but it is no longer available. Luckily, they support so many other payment methods that this isn’t really an issue.

FansBet Deposit & Withdrawal Information

Withdrawals are generally quite quick. While their site says that withdrawals can take between 2 and 5 working days to be processed, we noticed that this was actually faster in real life.

We mostly used a Skrill account while testing, as we wanted to use an option that was available globally. Most of our withdrawals hit our account somewhere between 24 and 36 hours after making the request, and we were even lucky enough to get some withdrawals processed same-day!

FansBet’s Amazing Betting Suite

FansBet give punters a huge array of options, covering 28 sports at the time of writing.

Between their collection of betting features, their odds prices, and the variety that punters have access to, the FansBet betting experience is top-notch.

Finding specific tournaments and events is extremely easy, with the most popular and in-play events being displayed front-and-centre on their main sports page.

FansBet organise everything into neat categories and tabs, so even absolute beginners and those who aren’t very techy are guaranteed a simple, easy way to place bets.

Betting Markets

The commitment to variety and options clearly extends to FansBet’s selection of betting markets. When we took a sample of football, rugby, tennis, and snooker events, FansBet were neck-and-neck with industry giants like 888 Sport and Netbet.

As you’ll find with all bookies, massive football matches tend to have the widest selections of bets to choose from. We were still pleasantly surprised to see the generous amount of options for other sports, too.

Cash Out

Seasoned punters will be pleased, as FansBet have both Full and Partial Cash Out available. While some other bookies out there make using Cash Out feel difficult, FansBet keep things extremely simple and user-friendly.

All punters need to do in order to cash out a bet is head to their bet slip and use the handy slider to choose exactly how much of your bet you’d like to cash out. We found this to be pretty easy and quick in practice, and this just helps round out Funbet’s excellent array of features.

The only thing we think needs to be improved here is that you can’t tell if a bet can be cashed out or not until after you’ve already wagered a stake on it. We’d love to be able to see which bets are and aren’t eligible before making the bets, but this is something we hope FansBet will introduce in time.

Pulse Bet

This is a feature that’s more closely related to FansBet’s live betting suite and is one of the most interesting features on their site. The Pulse Bet feature allows punters to place quick bets on goals scored in football matches.

Punters can bet on a goal to be scored in the next 30 seconds, 1 minute, 5 minutes, or 10 minutes. Whichever you choose, the time frame gets split into three distinct phases, with your winnings growing the closer you get to your predicting time.

The only thing to keep in mind is that Pulse Bets only take into account regular time (i.e. 2x 45-minute halves), so any goals scored in Penalties or Extra Time don’t apply to these bets.

This is a feature we had a lot of fun with during our FansBet review testing, and we think football betting fans are going to love trying this for themselves. Pulse Bets are easily one of our favourite things about this bookmaker.

Odds Comparison

We generally compare the bookmakers we review to other operators of a similar size and reputation, for fairness. With FansBet, however, we decided to put them up against two of the UK’s biggest betting sites. You may be shocked at the results:

As you can see above, not only were FansBet able to hold their own, but they actually came out on top here.

Looking at their overround (i.e. their profit margin), it’s clear to see that FansBet want to provide punters with the best value possible. For context, a score like 888Sport’s of 105-106.5% is considered to be average, with anything below that being a great deal.

Taking a look at potential returns, anyone betting on match-favourites Arsenal would be best going with FansBet for this match. A £100 bet with their odds yields a return of £240, while the same bet with 888Sport would return £230, and NetBet £235.

While this is just one example, it’s clear to see that FansBet provide great value for their punters, which is one of the main reasons we recommend signing up.

FansBet On the Go – User-Friendly Web App

There isn’t much we can say about the FansBet mobile experience that we haven’t already covered. All of the amazing betting features we mentioned are available on mobile, so using a phone or a tablet doesn’t limit punters in any way.

The site is extremely touch-friendly and is just as easy to use as it on desktop. We spent about half of our time with FansBet using the mobile site, and we couldn’t see any downsides to using our phone over a laptop or desktop computer.

Unfortunately, FansBet don’t have Android or iOS apps just yet. We wouldn’t be surprised to see this change in the near future, but for now, you’ll need to stick your device’s browser.

While the lack of a betting app wasn’t an issue for us, some punters out there may rely on the fact that native apps tend to use less data than mobile sites do. If having a native app is a dealbreaker for you, we recommend taking a look at our list of the UK’s best betting apps.

In-Play Betting

All of the things we loved about FansBet’s betting suite apply to their in-play offering too. A huge array of live sports and events are available, and punters can choose between a broad selection of markets for most matches.

Odds refresh as quickly you’d expect them to, and we saw the same great prices we had seen for pre-match odds above. In short, FansBet have a solid live betting platform.

Where FansBet need to improve, though, is the tools they give punters to be able to keep up with what’s going on in-play. Their match-tracker provides only the most basic information, and most punters won’t find it very useful.

Unfortunately, FansBet don’t offer live streaming as part of their live betting suite. This is disappointing, as it would be the perfect feature to really round-out their betting suite, but we hope this will be introduced later.

Top Secret VIP Club

While some other reviewers claim that FansBet don’t have a VIP Club, that’s not quite the case. FansBet do have a VIP Club, but it happens to be kept under tight lock and key.

You won’t find anything about it on their website, but we managed to get confirmation from their live chat agents that it’s only available by invitation.

We couldn’t find out very much about the specific perks that are available to punters, but the live chat operator we spoke to said VIP members can expect custom bonuses, birthday offers, and more.

Excellent Customer Service at FansBet

Punters can get in touch with FansBet via either their live chat service or by sending them an email. While more options would be nice to have, the fantastic customer service we received more than made up for it.

Before we get into that, though, punters should be aware that Fansbet have a great FAQ page. All of the questions are organised by topic, and the answers provided are thorough and detailed. While this may not sound like the most exciting feature that FansBet have to offer, this can save punters from needing to contact customer support at all!

Our FansBet Live Chat Experience

As we do with every bookmaker review, we got in touch with FansBet’s customer service team a number of times during our testing.  The site states that average response time is around 3 minutes, but we found this to actually be faster than advertised.

Each time we initiated a new live chat we got responses within 90 seconds, which is twice as fast as their advertised average. Even within conversations, the live chat operators always responded extremely quickly, and we were never left waiting.

What was even better was that every live chat operator we interacted with was friendly and knowledgeable. The level of service we received was fantastic, and we were exceptionally happy with how they handled all of our requests.
