As of 14th April 2020, players from the UK are no longer allowed to make credit card transactions at online betting sites
NetBet is one of the UK’s most feature-packed bookmakers.
This isn’t a phrase we use lightly, either. This NetBet Sport review examines the betting site from all angles.
From how to claim your welcome bonus, to the free NetBetTV sports streaming service, we peel back the curtain to reveal everything about NetBet Sports.
NetBet Sports Welcome Bonus
NetBet is currently offering UK customers the chance to claim free bets this summer! In fact, you can get a £10 Free bet when you place a £5 bet builder.

£10 Free bet when you place a £5 bet builder | £10 Free Bet | N/A |
How do I get my NetBet Free Bets?
To claim a £10 Free Bet, follow the steps below:
- Sign in to your NetBet account.
- Place a bet builder of at least £5
- Receive your free £10 free bet
- Always check terms and conditions and wagering requirements
NetBet Welcome Offer for Customers Outside of the UK
NetBet offers a good cash boost for new players to try out their platform. It is doling out a 50% bonus, up to €50 (or equivalent currency), on your first deposit at the betting site.
Bonus Name | Bonus | Bonus Code |
First Bet Matched (RoW) | 50% up to €50 Bonus | Welcome50 |
The offer is decent value for money, though we can’t help but wish that the 50% deposit bonus was a 100%, as that’s a little more in-line with general industry trends.
How do I use the NetBet Welcome Bonus Code?
To claim your €50 Welcome Bonus on your first deposit, follow the steps below:
- Register with NetBet and complete “Know Your Client” Verification
- Log into NetBet Account
- Go to Cashier Section and select your Payment Gateway
- Enter the NetBet Welcome Bonus Code, WELCOME50 in the ‘Promotion Code’ section
- The bonus money will be automatically added to your account.
- Wager 6x the bonus amount to cash out your winnings
Other NetBet Sport Promotions
Netbet also feature a selection of offers for their existing users. With so many betting sites out there not offering anything at all to their existing punters, the fact that NetBet have regular promotions and offers up for grabs is definitely a point in their corner.
Of course, we can’t get too specific about what Netbet offers look like, as they change all the time, but that’s actually great news for prospective punters. NetBet offers tend to be based on sporting events on at the time, and they’re kept current and up to date.
At the time of writing, it’s a relatively quiet time in the sporting world, and even now there are still four different NetBet offers for their existing users to take advantage of.
The offers themselves are all quite standard for the industry. Bettors can get added value through things like claiming free bets, bet insurance, odds boosts, and more. We recommend heading to their promotions page regularly, and especially when one of your favourite events is on, you’re likely to be able to claim a decent NetBet offer or two.
Safety and Security
NetBet has redefined its security standards in recent years and currently offers state of the art safety infrastructure. SSL encryption secures the whole NetBet network. They are regulated and licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority (Licence: MGA/B2C/126/2006) and the UK Gambling Commission (Licence: 39170).
Apart from this, NetBet is regularly audited by RNG iTech Labs. The company is also associated with IBAS and GamStop, for easy conflict resolution.
NetBet is a notable bookmaker, preferred by punters for its wide variety of sporting markets. NetBet is owned and managed by NetBet Enterprises Limited, a mid-size company headquartered in Malta.
NetBet was launched in 2001 with a primary focus on the UK market. It was granted an operating license the Malta Gaming Authority in 2006. It also carries a license from the UK Gambling Commission.
NetBet is the official betting partner of football clubs like Hamilton Academical, FSCB, and St Etienne. NetBet Casino also provides a full range of casino games, including slots, live casino, poker, NetBet Vegas jackpot, and lotto.
Responsible Gambling at NetBet
NetBet is also committed to Responsible Gambling and is associated with leading institutions like GamCare, Gambling Therapy, and Be Gamble Aware.
You can also use several Responsible Gambling features present in NetBet, like:
- Loss/Transfer Limit
- Deposit Limit
- Reality Check Alerts
- Session Timer
- Time Out
- Self-Exclusion
Deposits and Withdrawals at NetBet
NetBet faced quite some flack for its banking network. It has now recovered all lost ground by including several leading payment methods, including PayPal. Currently, the bookmaker offers payment gateways like Card Payments, Online Banking, e-wallets, and Wire Transfer.
The gateways are a mix of international and regional brands. The following gateways can be used to deposit and withdraw funds from NetBet.
There is a minimum deposit limit of £10 for any payment method, while the maximum cap can be set by the player during the registration process.
There are no transaction/processing fees for deposits at NetBet, but withdrawals are different story. Players using e-wallets to deposit have to wager at least 20% of the funds to withdraw.
NetBet Withdrawal Times – PayPal Listed!
NetBet Withdrawal Method | NetBet Withdrawal Time | NetBet Withdrawal Limits |
Debit Cards* | 4 – 8 days | £10 – £35,000 |
PayPal (UK) | Instant | £10 – £5,000 |
Skrill | Instant | £10 – no limit |
Neteller | Instant | £10 – no limit |
BitCoin by Neteller | 2 – 4 days | £10-500 |
Trustly | 4 – 12 days | £10 – £5,000 |
Wire Transfer | 4 – 12 days | £10 – no limit |
*Credit Card transactions are not available in the UK |
NetBet’s withdrawal times are pretty hit-or-miss, if we’re being honest. A NetBet withdrawal can either happen instantaneously, or it could take ages. We’re sure that they’ll continue tweaking this as time goes on, but NetBet withdrawal times seem to be fantastic for e-wallet users. However, all other NetBet withdrawals seem a little too slow for what we come to expect in 2024.
NetBet Withdrawal Fees and Monthly Limit
This is where NetBet’s withdrawals look a little less attractive than the table above would have you believe. For starters, your maximum monthly withdrawal limit is $/€/£100,000 without getting special permission from a customer support representative. This means that if you win big, you’re going to have to ask for permission to withdraw your winnings within the same calendar month.
That alone wouldn’t be a big deal, but the withdrawal fees are what really gets under our skin. Any withdrawal equal to or over $/€/£500 is subject to a 1.5% withdrawal fee. This means that if you withdraw £100,000 after a big win, you’re liable to pay a £1,500 withdrawal fee, on top of any fees that your payment provider or bank may apply.
The people at NetBet weren’t born yesterday either, making several withdrawals of £499 won’t fool anyone. Their withdrawals page clearly states that if withdrawals are split across different payment methods or transactions they’ll take your total withdrawal amount into consideration and apply the fee.
With so many other betting sites out there not charging any withdrawal fees, this one’s a biggie for us, even if withdrawals under $/€/£500 are exempt from this fee.

The NetBet Sports Betting Experience
NetBet offers an in-depth platform to wager in more than 25,000+ sporting events a month. The platform is butter-smooth and scores well in overall navigation and presentation. Transactions are fast, and we experienced zero lag during our trials. Let’s check out the NetBet Sports betting features in details.
Betting Features
- Bet Maker: NetBet’s Bet Maker is designed to make your accumulators easy to use. You can now choose a variety of bet markets (like 1X2 Full Time, Total Goals, 1st/2nd Half, Corners, Goal Scorers, etc.) through a single window, and place your bets directly. You don’t need to add the selections to the bet slip, and you can directly bet with the bet maker feature through a single click.
- SnapBet: The SnapBet feature is for live football bettors. You can now bring in the time element into your bets and bet on the goal scored in the next 30 seconds, 1 minute, 5 minute, or 10 minutes interval. Once your team scores the goal, within your selected time-frame, you will win the bet. The Snap Bet Feature is only available in the NetBet Android and iOS Mobile App.
- Add2Bet: Add2Bet is an interesting concept where you can edit/add new selections to your existing bets. They accept only Open Bets with Cash Out for new additions. You can simply go to “My Bets” to modify your bet slip.
- Net Bet Boosts: NetBet Boosts is a special feature that offers extended wins on select bet markets and bet types. These bets are active 24×7 and offer increased odds on popular sports events. The NetBet Boosts feature can be used along with your accumulators and combi bets.
NetBet Odds
NetBet’s betting features are definitely a huge draw for many punters. However, the overall quality of odds is a bit behind the industry average.
The Betting Margin at NetBet is the range of 4-5%. Some of the odds are competitive, but most of them lag behind those offered by other brands like BetFair and William Hills.

NetBet Sports Betting Apps
NetBet are clearly no strangers to the realities of the modern world. Almost 80% of the world’s web traffic happens on mobile devices, and NetBet understand how important the mobile-betting experience is to their customers.
The mobile version of their site is extremely user-friendly. Everything is exactly where you’d expect it to be, and all of NetBet’s betting features are accessible on the go, so you don’t need to be chained to a computer.
If you’d rather use a native smartphone app than a web browser, NetBet’s app is available on both Android and iOS.
The NetBet Android and iOS apps are easy to download and a great way to make instant bets. They have an amazing layout and are loaded with functionality. You can not only place your wagers, but also check/modify the bets, access customer support, and cash-outs using the app.
The Live Betting Suite
Some may not know this, but NetBet used to have a relatively barebones live betting suite. Luckily, they’ve doubled down on this in recent years, and we can now honestly say that NetBet’s live betting suite is fantastic!
Starting with their user-interface, everything is laid out in a way that makes it extremely easy to find live events to bet on. And finding markets within those events is effortless. As you can see in the screenshots below, NetBet have made their live betting suite touch-friendly and easy enough to use that even your technophobic dad should have no problems with it.
When it comes to speed and “up-to-dateness”, NetBet’s live odds refresh every few seconds, meaning you have access to the most relevant and updated odds out there. This might sound like a simple feature, but every in-play betting fanatic knows that how quick a bookmaker can refresh their odds can make or break a live betting suite.
Does NetBet Offer Live Streaming?
Yes, NetBet TV is a free sports-streaming service offered as part of NetBet’s in-play betting suite.
All you need to do is make sure that your account is topped up with at least £1 in real money (i.e. not bonus funds or free bets), and you can access any of the live broadcasts on NetBet TV.
What we especially love about this free service is that NetBet TV can be accessed from NetBet’s mobile apps. You don’t need to be at a laptop or television to watch their live streams, you can use your smartphone or tablet!
VIP Treatment – NOT for Loyal NetBetters
NetBet has a Player’s Club, which exclusively caters for loyal punters. The NetBet Player’s Club has five levels of VIP treatment, and entry for each level is determined by the number of NetPoints you carry.
NetPoints can be earned by wagering real cash in casino games. The VIP club is currently limited to NetBet Casino players only. We do believe that NetBet will roll out the NetPoints benefits to its bookmaking players in the future.
NetBet Customer Support
NetBet provides customer support through docket-based answering services, telephone support, and live chat.
These can be accessed from the homepage by clicking on the Help Center tab. The docket-based query system is very effective and easy to use. You need to fill in your name, email, explain the nature of the problem you’re experiencing, and forward your query through the NetBet platform. You will get instant replies on most problems, while there may be some delay during peak hours.
For instant resolutions, you can contact the NetBet Customer Support Helpline. This is the fastest way to resolve an issue, though if you’d prefer to have everything in writing, there are options for that too.
You can even initiate a Live Chat to solve your problems. We found that NetBet’s live chat operators were quick to respond and extremely professional. The data from this portion of our NetBet review testing was a clear standout as a higher quality service than average bookmakers.

Can I Join NetBet in my Country?
While some betting sites out there take a more global approach, NetBet focus on specific markets, putting a lot of energy and careful attention into providing those punters with a top-notch betting experience.
Punters in the UK and Ireland, in particular, would do well to sign up with NetBet. The UK and Ireland are important markets for NetBet, and we noted that NetBet tend to offer more offers and promotions in the UK than anywhere else.
However, as long as you don’t reside in one of the restricted countries listed below, we think NetBet is a solid option for punters wherever it’s available.
NetBet Review – Final Thoughts
NetBet is a rising star and has the mojo to join the league of top bookmakers of Europe. But, as always, we need to end this NetBet review by answering a single question:
What kind of punter is NetBet Sport best suited for?

It offers some amazing betting features to considerably personalize your bets. Plus, their free sports streaming service is just what in-play aficionados need to stay on top of all the action.
