UPDATE: STS.Bet Ltd has ceased to provide bettings services to its UK customers. As of 14/02/2023 STS will no longer accept UK deposits/registrations.
STS is one of the latest betting sites in the UK! As such, it made sense take a look at it and do an STS review. We compared it with the biggest and the best, and with online bookmakers that we consider equal to STSbet. Besides an odds comparison, we also had a look at the STS sign-up offer, the payment options, the STS app and the customer service. Before we start, a teaser, they accept customers from a few countries only.
STS offer their newly registered punters a free £10 bet. To claim these, you simply need to deposit and bet £10 on any sportsbook market at min. odds of 1/2 (1.50). As this is quite a low qualifying deposit amount and the minimum odds are in line with the market average, we're happy to say this welcome bonus is fair and accessible.
To claim your free bets at STS today, simply register via our link and use the code SBWB10. If you're not yet convinced, read on for the full free bet terms and conditions.

STS likes to charm with the looks and the new customer offer, but they also do an excellent job with the bonus deals that are on the menu for already registered punters. All sports betting offers can be found in the STS Promotions section. We know, for a fact, that there is an Extra 6+ ACCA Insurance, or at least there was, which says a lot about the type of bettors STS likes to attract. If you want to come on top, you might want to minimise the risk like any experienced punter, and go for something more modest, like up to 3 selections maybe, or even singles!
The bonus terms are ALWAYS clearly displayed, which made our job easy when we were evaluating the quality of the bonus offers. This is very important to us at Sportsbetting24.com, because it indicates the bookmaker, although a business, wants to come clean, and follow all guidelines.
STS is a Polish-based betting site with all the quality of a UK sportsbook. STS is a proud sponsor of the Polish Football league and an official sponsor of the Polish National Team. They are dedicated to the Polish market, but, they have their eyes on other markets as well! The UKGC license is attractive to UK bettors, especially to those who hadn't have the opportunity to bet with a free bet or a new customer offer in a long time. We can consider STS as a newcomer to the market, and as such, it’s a chance for seasoned bettors to get a new customer offer!
Besides the UKGC license, STS promotes and supports GambleAware, GamStop, and it’s associated with IBAS. Underage gambling is strictly forbidden, and all the checks that are in place, that verify your identity are there because of this. We can't but mention the fact that the STS Casino that comes as complementary to the sportsbook is also secure, with STS showing all the audited RTPs of their games, by the software provider. It's the big things that get us to sign up, like the license and the bonus, but the little things keep us there, like security and fast withdrawals.
As of 14th April 2020, players from the UK are no longer allowed to make credit card transactions at online betting sites |
Due to the nature of the betting site, we had different expectations when we started the STSbet review because it's unfair to judge them on something they are not supposed to do.
All the e-wallets are covered, credit cards (Note: Credit Card transactions are not available in the UK) as well, but you can also find payment options like Trustly, WireCard, MuchBetter and Ozan! Paysafecard, surprisingly, is not available to UK customers, but it is for customers from other countries.
On the other hand, once the time for withdrawal comes, these are your options.

The first impression, it's colourful. That's not something you can see at other well-established bookmakers like Betfair, bet365 or Unibet. The offers displayed on the side are distracting to a point. Sports and the top leagues are displayed on the left, and we have to say, they really nailed it with the selection of the top leagues in particular. The search bar proved to be quite useful, but only during the individual test. That said, we didn't feel like having to use it. This says a lot about STSbet’s user interface; it's user-friendly!
But what about the odds offer?
Well, we compared STSbet’s odds with two very different bookmakers, Ladbrokes, a big betting company and MoPlay, a relatively new entrant to the UK market. Here’s what we found out.

Bet365 beat both STSbet and MoPlay in this case. However, we have to admit that it was way easier to browse the odds at STSbet than at bet365. We tried looking for the odds for the following games, at we couldn’t do it with bet365 and MoPlay. STSbet beat both in the user-interface and overall offer. Then again, it all comes down to the quality of the odds.
Punters are aware of the benefits of a cashout facility, and no bookmaker can break even without it. STSbet, even as a new betting site, offers cash out on selected markets. Note, the events and betting markets that qualify for cash out can vary a lot if compared to other well-established bookmakers. We recommend using it whenever possible, especially if you are dealing with a 6+ ACCA, and you are doing well so far. At the time of writing, STSbet offered a 6+ ACCA promotion, which goes perfectly in combination with the cash-out facility!
As of 2022, STS offer horse racing betting markets and live streaming. This offering covers all UK and Irish racecourses, allowing you to bet on the likes of Cheltenham, Aintree, and Royal Ascot. You're able to watch the action unfold and follow your bets from all devices.
Whilst some would argue that offering horse racing markets is long overdue, STS has created a promising package that puts them in line with competitors. The bookie will also boast regular racing promotions, so keep checking this page. When a new offer launches, you'll be the first to know.
On mobile, SBSbet looks stunning! Everything is a few screen taps away. Although we hate saying it, it is quite intuitive. At the top, you can see the in-play and pre-match section, along with the Casino, which is irrelevant from sports betting perspective. SBSbet does not have any native apps for Android or iOS, meaning, you can bet instantly with the mobile web app. This is by no means bad, but seasoned punters will definitely prefer a native app they have readily available on their home screen.
The non-existent SBSbet Android app and its iOS counterpart put SBSbet in a group for bookmakers that are great for casual bettors. Punters that bet for the sake of fun and entertainment that do not pay attention to the margins, depth of markets and variety of sports, instead they bet on what's on offer.
Fortunately, there are "In-play" odds. We really like the interface! We didn't think that we'd enjoy the dark background that much. Sports like Football, tennis, hockey, volleyball and baseball are featured. However, they also offer a "favourites" option, where you can select your picks. Then again, we didn't like how the overview of the betting markets is shown. It's just confusing. To see the full list of betting markets per match, click on the event. Besides the betting markets and the odds, here, you can also see a stream, but not a broadcast of the match. This is helpful, and an extra feature which not many bookmakers have by default. However, there is no live streaming as in video broadcast, at least, not at the time of writing of this SBSbet review.
VIP programs and loyalty rewards have become a thing of the past in the sports betting world. There’s no sign, no word of any VIP rewards that you might get down the road as an appreciation of your loyalty to SBSbet. Since other bookies have moved away from this, we can’t take this as a flaw, so it does not impact the overall rating of STSbet.
STSbet does not offer live chat to non-registered customers. However, the moment you sign-up, it will show up on screen. In our opinion, both registered and unregistered customers should be able to reach out to the customer service department. There are some bettors that want to make sure they're getting what they're expecting. However, this is a double-edged sword, kind of, because if they have live chat for registered customers only, that means, they really are available. They are not bothered by bettors who are just "shopping" for a betting site. In addition, they also offer email support. You can also just fill out the contact web form, and you'll be in the "queue"!
STSbet are rather picky when it comes to what audiences they wish to entertain. We can't say they have the longest list of restricted countries, but they are among the top 5 for sure. With only a few featured markets, like the United Kingdom, Germany, Iceland, Slovenia and Malta, they sure have high hopes and a lot of work to do to get a decent market share.
They are an elitist betting site. Even if you register, you can't deposit as they don't accept deposits from many regions.
Without a doubt, UK customers are the top priority for STSbet, at least the UK site. Payment methods are in good order, and the interface is quite refreshing.
It can't compete with the biggest and the best, but it does excel in a few areas, like the layout and the interface. Moreover, they make it easy for casual punters to find a match to bet on. STSbet takes full advantage of the “new betting site” label, by offering something new, something different. Nevertheless, as you could see in our STSbet review, the security and the payment options follow the traditional bookmaking principles. If only they had PayPal, they'd be ten times better, mainly because casual punters identify with it.
