Betting Markets

Sportsbet.io offered 98 different pre-match betting markets for the match, while most competitors only featured between 55 and 65 pre-match markets. However, it’s also really common for online bookmakers to offer more markets for football than they do for other sports.

We put this to the test and looked at Sportsbet.io’s other offerings. On average, competitors featured 18 pre-match markets for Indian Premier League cricket matches. Sportsbet.io featured between 75-90 pre-match markets for IPL matches.

We then took a look at their eSports betting section, and we discovered that Sportsbet.io feature a massive selection of both pre-match and live markets.

Cash Out

This is perhaps one of the only areas where we think Sportsbet.io could be doing better. Cash Out is available, however, bets can only be fully cashed out. There’s no partial cash out options, and no Auto-Cash-Out feature.

Another issue we have with Sportsbet.io’s implementation of this feature is that there’s no way to know if cash out is available before wagering. You can only find out whether a bet can be cashed out after successfully wagering on it.

Technically speaking, Cash Out should be available on all pre-match and live markets as long as they fall into one of the following sports. However, as this is considered to be a bonus feature by this betting site, they‘re very clear about making no guarantees as to its availability.

Punters should also be aware that just because a bet can be cashed out pe-match, there’s no guarantee that it will be available for live betting. Not every single match for every sport is available in Sportsbet.io’s live betting suite.

Request-a-Bet

While there isn’t an official “Request-a-Bet” button anywhere on the site, punters can still request that Sportsbet.io open up betting on a match if they somehow don’t already offer it.

All you need to do is log in, and click on the live chat button in the left-hand menu. Then you can ask one of their customer support agents to make it available to you.

Of course, manually adding events to their system this way is something that can take time, so it’s best to ask at least a few hours in advance. Also, while it’s unlikely that Sportsbet.io aren’t already running the event you want, there’s also no guarantee that they’ll be able to add the event, but they’ll certainly do their best to try.

Price Boost

Every day punters can choose one Price Boost on any sports or esports market available. All punters need to do is choose their bet, and tap on the blue “Price Boost” button. Punters can either boost a single bet, or a single selection within a multi. You can’t use a Price Boost more than once per event, so you won’t be able to rack up a series of Price Boosted pre-match bets on a single match.

However, make sure to avoid cashing out your boosted bet, as you’ll be cashed out at the original price instead of the boosted one.

Smart Stakes

This is one of our favourite features at Sportsbet.io. If you’ve placed at least 3 bets using the same currency in the last 30 days, then Sportsbet.io have an algorithm that will recommend bets based on your recent habits.

This is a feature that very few betting sites have, and in our experience, it completely transforms the betting experience. We found that once the algorithm had started working, we were being recommended bets that we actually wanted to wager on.

Odds Comparison

As is normal in our betting site reviews, we put Sportsbet.io up against one of their biggest competitors to take a look at their odds prices.

We chose Dafabet for this comparison, as Dafabet is an international betting site that’s popular in India, Bangladesh, and Pakistan, much like Sportsbet.io. We selected the match-winner odds on an English Premier League football match for this comparison. This is what we found:

Of course, we didn’t use the price boost feature on Sportsbet.io for this comparison, as that isn’t a feature that Dafabet has, and we wanted this comparison to be as fair as possible.

The odds aren’t all that different, but Dafabet has slightly better pricing on 2 of the 3 outcomes. This difference seems negligible, but let’s take a look at how it could affect our potential returns.

If you place a ₹500 bet on the match ending in a draw, your return with Sportsbet.io will be ₹2,000, compared to ₹2,050 from Dafabet. When betting on the Tottenham Hotspurs, though, Sportsbet.io will pay out ₹815, and Dafabet will pay out ₹830. Not a massive difference for casual or infrequent bettors, but these price differences start to add up if you place several bets a week.
