The Bet-At-Home bonus for sports bettors is, for the time being, not available to UK customers. This is disappointing, as many of our readers are in the UK. However, punters from other European countries are eligible, and this is a bonus that’s relatively easy to redeem.

Customers outside of the UK can claim a 50% bonus up to €50.

It’s a straightforward welcome bonus that will get all new customers some much-needed extra funds to bet with. Though the wagering requirements are high.  

Redeeming the full €50 bonus will require punters to wager €600 over 90 days.

While plenty of punters are likely to wager that much over the span of 3 months anyway, it’s an excessive requirement for a €50 bonus. When you take the odds restrictions into account, this may even be difficult for more casual punters to redeem.

Odds Comparison

We put Bet-at-Home’s odds prices to the test by comparing them to another popular bookmaker, Mr. Play. We took the pre-match odds for a UEFA Champions League match. It’s clear to see that one of these bookies provides much better value than the other:

As you can see in the table above, Bet-at-Home outperformed Mr. Play here. While the differences may not seem significant at first glance, things start to look a little different when you look at the difference in potential returns.

A £10 bet on match-favourites Liverpool would yield a return of £21.30 with Bet-at-Home, but just £20.50 with Mr. Play. While an 80p difference in profit may not seem like a dealbreaker, these differences end up quickly snowballing. Over the course of a whole year, an avid punter could potentially end up hundreds of pounds better off, simply because of odds prices.

Bet-at-Home Mobile – No Smartphone Apps

The Bet-at-Home mobile betting experience is decent, though a little behind the competition.

The mobile web version is responsive, easy to use, and packs all the same functionality of the desktop site. As you can see in the screenshots below, the mobile site is clean and sleek, making it super user-friendly.

In fact, we found that during our Bet-at-Home review testing, we preferred using Bet-at-Home on mobile to using it on a laptop or desktop computer.

Unfortunately, Bet-at-Home’s smartphone apps aren’t available in the UK. While punters in other countries, like Germany or Malta, can access the app, for some reason this isn’t available in the UK.

We’re not sure why this is the case, and their customer service agents weren’t able to shed any light on this. Luckily, though, the mobile web version of the site works perfectly, so this isn’t a major issue.

Live Betting – Limited Cash Out & No Streaming

Bet-at-Home’s in-play betting suite has its pros and cons. While the odds prices are great, and there are tons of markets to choose from, the platform still feels like a work-in-progress.

While Bet-At-Home do a great job of providing top-quality in-play betting basics, that’s all they offer. Their live betting suite lacks a lot of the features that most punters have come to expect. We can’t recommend this to punters who use most of their bankroll on in-play bets.

Cash Out

Punters can use the ever-popular Cash Out feature, though not to its full effect.

Bets can only be Cashed Out fully, as Bet-at-Home do not support Partial Cash Out. Those looking for an Auto Cash Out feature are also out of luck, as bets need to be Cashed Out manually.

Keeping Up with the Match

As any fan of live-betting knows, you need to be aware of what’s happening to be able to make split-second decisions about your bets. Bet-at-Home provide punters with a few widgets to help follow along, but only a minimal amount of information is available.

Widgets like the match tracker give basic information, like the number of points, fouls, etc, though are generally a few minutes behind the live broadcasts you’d see on TV. 

Unfortunately, Bet-at-Home do not offer live streaming or audio commentary, so punters will need to find another way to keep up with the matches and races using a TV, external streaming service, or radio.

Bet-At-Home disappoints us with its lack of loyalty rewards. The brand doesn’t have any VIP or loyalty programme on its sports-betting products.

Bet-at-Home has round-the-clock support, open 24×7. The support is multi-lingual and available in English and German. Apart from Live Chat, there are traditional ways of addressing your queries like phone, email, fax and social media platforms.

Of course, a big part of our Bet-At-Home review testing includes actually trying out the different ways punters can get in touch with customer service representatives. Live chat responses are wonderfully fast, we were connected to a customer service representative almost immediately each time we used the feature.

Similarly, we found their phone support to be quick and easy, unlike some customer support systems that have you dialling through layers and layers of robot operators. 

Across the board, the customer service representatives were great. They were always friendly, always did their very best to help us with whatever we needed, and were always really quick to respond. Bet-At-Home’s customer service is truly top-notch.
