As of 14th April 2020, players from the UK are no longer allowed to make credit card transactions at online betting sites
Unfortunately, Bet-at-Home no longer accepts punters from the UK. The good news, however, is that we’ve got a great selection of UK betting sites for you to choose from. Check out our expert list to claim free bets and bonuses today.
You can still read our Bet-at-home review below, but do note that it may now be out-of-date.
Do Bet-at-Home Have A Welcome Bonus?
The Bet-At-Home bonus for sports bettors is, for the time being, not available to UK customers. This is disappointing, as many of our readers are in the UK. However, punters from other European countries are eligible, and this is a bonus that’s relatively easy to redeem.
Customers outside of the UK can claim a 50% bonus up to €50.
It’s a straightforward welcome bonus that will get all new customers some much-needed extra funds to bet with. Though the wagering requirements are high.
Redeeming the full €50 bonus will require punters to wager €600 over 90 days.
Bet-at-home Bonus | Bonus | Bonus Code |
Deposit 1 | 50% up to €50 | FIRST |
18+, New Customers Only. Max. bonus amount €50. Wagering requirement 4x bonus + deposit. Min. odds 1.70 (7/10). Country restrictions apply. Bonus code required. |
While plenty of punters are likely to wager that much over the span of 3 months anyway, it’s an excessive requirement for a €50 bonus. When you take the odds restrictions into account, this may even be difficult for more casual punters to redeem.
How to Claim the Bet-At-Home Welcome Bonus
- Register and Verify Your Email at Bet-at-home.
- Deposit using the bonus code FIRST.
- The bonus funds will be credited to your account immediately.
- You can now start betting with the bonus funds.
- Complete the rollover requirements before you submit a withdrawal request.

Promotions for Existing Users – But Not in the UK
Bet-at-Home’s promotions aren’t available in the UK, though punters in Europe can benefit from a small variety of regular offers.
Those outside the UK can enjoy a decent selection of bonuses and promotions of a few different types, and seasonal promotions pop up around huge sporting events, too. Punters can expect to see the following types of bonuses:
- Bet insurance
- Cashback
- Cash giveaways
- Betting tournaments
Bet-at-Home: Safety & Security
Our Bet At Home review is here to answer all your questions, the most important being:
“Is Bet At Home trustworthy?“
Bet-at-Home has been operating since 1999. Punters have been trusting them with their hard-earned cash and personal data for over 20 years, and they’ve maintained a spotless record throughout.
As you can see in the table below, Bet-at-Home are licensed and regulated by some of the world’s strictest authorities, like the UK Gambling Commission. This is great for punters, as these authorities impose strict regulations that help keep punters safe.
In addition to all that, their site is 256bit SSL encrypted, meaning it’s almost physically impossible for anyone to gain access to any of the information shared between you and Bet-at-Home.
Here’s a bird’s eye view of their security measures:
SAFETY & LICENSING | VERIFIED BY / ISSUED BY |
Licensing |

SSL Security (SHA-1 and SHA-2, TLS 1.2, 256bit AES) |

Bet-At-Home’s Payment Options
Bet-at-Home’s selection of payment methods is decent, though has shrunk over time. Overall, though, we don’t see any major issues with Bet-at-Home’s banking features.
Unfortunately for our UK readers, Bet-At-Home PayPal deposits are no longer supported, so e-wallet users will need to stick to Skrill and Neteller.
All deposits at Bet-at-Home are free of charge and the maximum deposit limit can be set by the player.
Withdrawal Limits
Payment Method | Minimum Withdrawal | Maximum Withdrawal |
Debit Cards* | £100 | £5,000 |
Bank Transfer | No Minimum | No Limit |
Skrill | £10 | £6,000 |
Neteller | £10 | £10,000 |
Trustly | £10 | No Limit |
*Credit Card transactions not available in the UK |
According to Bet-at-Home’s terms and conditions, the profit limit per customer, per week is £100,000.
Withdrawal Fees
While most punters will likely never get charged any withdrawal fees at Bet-at-Home, it’s important to be aware that you can be charged withdrawal fees in some specific situations.
These fees only apply to a small number of their withdrawal methods, and even then, Bet-at-Home gives punters a number of free withdrawals each month before fees apply:
Withdrawal Method | Free Withdrawals p/month | Fee for Additional Withdrawals |
Bank Transfer | 3 | up to €5 |
Trustly | 3 | up to €5 |
Skrill | 2 | up to €5 |
As we said above, most punters will manage to get by without ever being charged any withdrawal fees by Bet-at-Home. Punters who make very frequent withdrawals would likely be best sticking to Neteller. The low minimum withdrawal, high withdrawal limit, and lack of withdrawal fees makes it the most attractive option.

Sports Betting Platform & Features
Bet At Home provides an amazing array of betting markets, offering bets not only on sports but also on politics and other societal events. From quick bets to long-term bets, you will find almost every kind of bet on this platform.
Bet-at-Home prides itself on running bets on over 380,000 events, across 75 sports, each year.
Another great attraction in Bet-at-Home is virtual sports in football, basketball, and tennis. The bets on virtual sports are active 24×7 and you can fast-forward an entire league of football in under an hour.
User Experience
The betting platform is neat, clean and user-friendly. Bet-at-Home scores full points in the user-experience department. There is zero fluff on the platform and the layout is designed for maximum betting convenience.
Punters can easily scan through future bets in the “Tomorrow’s Bet” section or check out quick betting opportunities under “Live Bet” section. During our Bet-at-Home review testing, we never had any issues when looking for specific matches, leagues, or even markets.
Odds Comparison
We put Bet-at-Home’s odds prices to the test by comparing them to another popular bookmaker, Mr. Play. We took the pre-match odds for a UEFA Champions League match. It’s clear to see that one of these bookies provides much better value than the other:
Bet-at-Home | Mr. Play | |
RB Liepzig | 3.05 | 3.00 |
Draw | 3.55 | 3.50 |
Liverpool FC | 2.13 | 2.05 |
Overround | 107.9% | 110.69% |
The odds displayed above are for display purposes only and were accurate at the time of retrieval (07/01/2021). We cannot guarantee that these odds will remain available, or remain unchanged at any later date. |
As you can see in the table above, Bet-at-Home outperformed Mr. Play here. While the differences may not seem significant at first glance, things start to look a little different when you look at the difference in potential returns.
A £10 bet on match-favourites Liverpool would yield a return of £21.30 with Bet-at-Home, but just £20.50 with Mr. Play. While an 80p difference in profit may not seem like a dealbreaker, these differences end up quickly snowballing. Over the course of a whole year, an avid punter could potentially end up hundreds of pounds better off, simply because of odds prices.
❗NOTE! Bet-at-Home only provide odds in decimal format. Luckily, decimal odds are easy to understand. You can calculate your potential return just by multiplying your stake by the odds, like in our examples above.

Bet-at-Home Mobile – No Smartphone Apps
The Bet-at-Home mobile betting experience is decent, though a little behind the competition.
The mobile web version is responsive, easy to use, and packs all the same functionality of the desktop site. As you can see in the screenshots below, the mobile site is clean and sleek, making it super user-friendly.
In fact, we found that during our Bet-at-Home review testing, we preferred using Bet-at-Home on mobile to using it on a laptop or desktop computer.
Unfortunately, Bet-at-Home’s smartphone apps aren’t available in the UK. While punters in other countries, like Germany or Malta, can access the app, for some reason this isn’t available in the UK.
We’re not sure why this is the case, and their customer service agents weren’t able to shed any light on this. Luckily, though, the mobile web version of the site works perfectly, so this isn’t a major issue.
Live Betting – Limited Cash Out & No Streaming
Bet-at-Home’s in-play betting suite has its pros and cons. While the odds prices are great, and there are tons of markets to choose from, the platform still feels like a work-in-progress.
While Bet-At-Home do a great job of providing top-quality in-play betting basics, that’s all they offer. Their live betting suite lacks a lot of the features that most punters have come to expect. We can’t recommend this to punters who use most of their bankroll on in-play bets.
Cash Out
Punters can use the ever-popular Cash Out feature, though not to its full effect.
Bets can only be Cashed Out fully, as Bet-at-Home do not support Partial Cash Out. Those looking for an Auto Cash Out feature are also out of luck, as bets need to be Cashed Out manually.
Keeping Up with the Match
As any fan of live-betting knows, you need to be aware of what’s happening to be able to make split-second decisions about your bets. Bet-at-Home provide punters with a few widgets to help follow along, but only a minimal amount of information is available.
Widgets like the match tracker give basic information, like the number of points, fouls, etc, though are generally a few minutes behind the live broadcasts you’d see on TV.
Unfortunately, Bet-at-Home do not offer live streaming or audio commentary, so punters will need to find another way to keep up with the matches and races using a TV, external streaming service, or radio.
VIP Package
Bet-At-Home disappoints us with its lack of loyalty rewards. The brand doesn’t have any VIP or loyalty programme on its sports-betting products.
Bet-At-Home has a healthy fan-following in sports-betting whose loyalty to the brand should be rewarded. With most close competitors of Bet-At-Home offering full-scale loyalty benefits, we expect Bet-At-Home to soon join the VIP bandwagon.
Customer Support – Phone, Live Chat and Email
Bet-at-Home has round-the-clock support, open 24×7. The support is multi-lingual and available in English and German. Apart from Live Chat, there are traditional ways of addressing your queries like phone, email, fax and social media platforms.
Of course, a big part of our Bet-At-Home review testing includes actually trying out the different ways punters can get in touch with customer service representatives. Live chat responses are wonderfully fast, we were connected to a customer service representative almost immediately each time we used the feature.
Similarly, we found their phone support to be quick and easy, unlike some customer support systems that have you dialling through layers and layers of robot operators.
Across the board, the customer service representatives were great. They were always friendly, always did their very best to help us with whatever we needed, and were always really quick to respond. Bet-At-Home’s customer service is truly top-notch.
