Is Parimatch Safe?

Parimatch is licensed in the jurisdiction of Curacao, which means we need to look at much more than just their remote gambling licence to determine if they’re safe and secure. While some licences, such as those issued by the UK Gambling Commission and the Malta Gaming Authority, are seals of trust in and of themselves, the same can’t be said about Curacao licences. This isn’t to say that a Curacao licence is necessarily a bad thing, it just means we need to check Parimatch for other indicators.

One thing that definitely inspired some confidence in us is that Parimatch is 256-Bit SSL secured at site level. What this means, in laymans terms, is that it is almost impossible for a third party to penetrate Parimatch’s site or gain access to any of their users’ data.  A major point in their favour here.

Taking a second look at their remote gaming licence (Licence Number 8048/JAZ2018-044) shows us that they received their licence from the Antillephone master licence. The reason we mention this is because Antillephone are known to carry out in-depth background checks, and look into things such as bank statements, criminal records, and proof of income before granting operators a licence.

Payment Methods at Parimatch – A Decent Selection

As a bookie that targets residents of India, we were pleased to see that Parimatch do indeed accept Indian Rupees, and we wish more bookies would follow suit. The selection of payment methods at Parimatch isn’t exhaustive, but punters have a wide enough array of options that they should be able to look at the list of available payment methods and see at least two that they already use in their day-to-day or digital lives.

From the traditional VISA and MasterCard options, to e-wallets like Skrill, Neteller, MuchBetter, and Jeton, Parimatch have made it exceptionally easy for punters in India to deposit funds and start betting.

Withdrawal Times, Fees, and Limits

According to Parimatch’s terms and conditions, withdrawal requests can take between 1 and 3 working days to be internally processed, plus the selected payment method’s transaction times. In practice, though, we experienced same-day processing of our withdrawal requests, so these were relatively quick.

Another piece of good news is that Parimatch doesn’t charge any withdrawal fees, meaning that your entire withdrawal is yours to keep (barring any transactions by your selected payment provider, but that has nothing to do with Parimatch).

Parimatch Sports Betting

Parimatch India is still a relatively new sportsbook, though considering it sprouted from the massive Parimatch brand, that reduces amount of slack we can cut Parimatch for being “new”. Our biggest issue with Parimatch as a sportsbook is that there just aren’t enough leagues and matches available to bet on.

To illustrate our point, the relatively simple odds comparison below took us much longer than it usually does when writing sportsbook reviews. This was simply because we kept picking matches to compare that Parimatch wasn’t running bets on, which isn’t a problem we encounter all that often.

Where Parimatch does well, on the other hand, is with their selection of betting markets. If Parimatch happen to be running bets on a match, then you’re going to have tons of betting markets to choose from to really fine tune your betslip. We were more than happy with the amount of options at our fingertips once we decided on matches to bet on.

Odds Comparison

As you can see from the table above, Parimatch offer decent enough odds when compared to other small, regional sportsbooks. An overround score 111.7 is still relatively high, but not as high as some of their biggest competitors, so Indian punters looking for INR betting will still be able to find some decent value in Parimatch’s odds

Are Live Streams Available?

When it comes to bookies this new, this isn’t even usually a question we ask. Live streams are, typically, reserved for the biggest operators in the market. Parimatch, however, have live streaming available for all their eSports matches, as well as certain matches for other sports.

Players will need to register and add funds to their account to be able to watch the live streams, but we were able to watch tennis, League of Legends, basketball, and even a football match while placing bets. The only things about their VIP programme we were able to discover is that it does indeed exist, and that it’s by invite-only, based on your account activity. If you’re a high roller, it’s likely that you’ll be contacted by one of their VIP managers.

Parimatch’s Customer Service – Less than Impressive

Parimatch are a lot easier to get in touch with than a lot of other bookies, mainly because there are SO many different ways to get in touch with them! From their 24/7 live chat, to their email address, to their WhatsApp help number, and even a Telegram bot!

What they don’t have, unfortunately, is an FAQ or help section. This means that if you can’t find the information you’re looking for, or you come across something that seems unclear (and trust us, there’s plenty of that on their site), your only option is to get in touch with their customer service department.

Our Parimatch Live Chat Experience

Our experiences with their customer service agents were a little mixed. All the customer service representatives we spoke to were polite, however we were left waiting for long periods of time for each question we asked within the same conversation. At one point, when enquiring about the iPhone app, we were left waiting close to 30 minutes for any information. The customer support agent even assured us she was still there so we wouldn’t assume we had been forgotten about or disconnected.

Another issue we had is that some of the customer service representatives have poor English, meaning that they sometimes struggled to understand our questions. One customer service agent, in particular, continued to give us information about bonuses when we repeatedly reminded them that we were actually asking about withdrawals.

Again, the customer service agents were all perfectly nice and polite, profusely apologising for waiting times, but that doesn’t change the fact that we ended up wasting quite a bit of time waiting for information that should have been easily found on their site. We suspect that the customer service agents are either juggling too many chats at the same time, or are outsourced and still unfamiliar with Parimatch and their offerings.

Parimatch India, as the name might suggest, is completely focused on India. While part of a larger brand that’s proven to be popular in Eastern Europe and Central Asia, we’re happy to see a site that truly focuses on Indian bettors.
