Today’s game is what the Champions League is all about. Two great European clubs will meet on the Allianz Arena. Two squads that never fail to deliver great showmanship and excitement that lasts for days. With no doubts tonight we’re going to see an amazing game. Two weeks ago Arsenal managed to overrun Bayern with a 2-0 victory. However, Bayern will probably tell a different tale tonight. They’ll play on home turf which hasn’t been conquered this season, yet. On the other hand, Arsenal proved to be a worthy competitor of Bayern. The Gunners simply know how to play against the Bavarians.
In the last couple of years Bayern Munich became the worst nightmare of many top tier clubs. During the Champions League draw coaches and players alike cross their fingers not to come in Bayern’s way. Arsenal was “fortunate” enough to have Bayern in their group. Few days ago the Bavarians had their first tie game vs. Eintracht Frankfurt. If it wasn’t for that goalless tie match Bayern Munich would’ve have 11 wins out of 11 games. In the past 11 matches they’ve conceded only 4 goals. Manuel Neuer is known for his exceptional goalkeeping skills, but also for making some risky decisions when it comes to leaving the penalty area.
The defense is effective, but the offence is outstanding. Robert Lewandowski and Thomas Muller can carve open any defense line. They two alone have scored 28 goals in the German Bundesliga and the Champions League. Both of them will go out tonight on Allianz Arena with one objective in mind, score as many goals as possible. With an average of 3 goals scored per game and 1 goal conceded in every 3 games Bayern Munich has absolute dominance over any other club. They have no respect at all when it comes to crushing a reputable world class team.
Pep Guardiola doesn’t have any major problems with injuries. After all there are quite a lot of players who can play on this level. Tonight, we’re going to see the best Bayern Munich has to offer. FC Hollywood as they are sometimes referred will try to make Arsenal’s stay misery.
Injured: M. Götze, M. Benatia, F. Ribery
We can consider Arsenal as the Flagship Destroyer. They tend to have a tough time dealing with mid to low tier clubs due to their inconsistent defense, but whenever they meet some of the leading EU clubs both on home and away turf, they always surpass our expectations. Currently they hold the 2nd place in the Premier League. After a rough start The Gunners are back on track with 5 consecutive wins in the elite English football competition. However, the pinnacle of their recent performance was the home rather unexpected victory over their tonight’s host, Bayern Munich. With 2 rather late goals Arsenal managed to secure the crucial 3 points. They’re still in the danger zone having only 3 points. If they want to continue their Champions League adventure a 2nd victory over Bayern is of paramount importance. The undisputed German squad is a tough nut to crack on Allianz Arena, but still, it can crack.
Arsenal’s strategy prioritizes scoring goals. Conceding goals is not an issue as long as they come on top. Wenger made the right call when he brought Petr Cech to Arsenal. He proved to be the ideal goalkeeper the Gunners needed to stabilize the defense.
Arsene Wenger has been under some serious injury problems pressure. Even that didn’t stop the French coach of pulling Arsenal up to the top. However, the list of injured players won’t get any shorter any time soon.
Arsenal’s players are passionate, willing and hard-working individuals. If there’s one thing the cold-blooded Bayern Munich doesn’t have it’s the will to win when all odds are against them.
Injured: H. Bellerin, T. Walcott, A. Oxlade-Chamberlain, M. Arteta, A. Ramsey, D. Ospina, J. Wilshere, T. Rosicky, D. Welbeck.
Although it’s November the Allianz Arena will get burning hot tonight. The clash is among two very different outstanding EU clubs. On the one hand there’s Arsenal, a team fighting for survival in the Champions League. They’re certainly the underdogs for tonight’s match. However, they most of any other club know how to catch off-guard the German football machine called Bayern Munich. We can’t stress how unpredictable the Gunners can be when encountering a football club of Bayern’s reputation.
On the other hand, Bayern Munich’s ego is severely hurt after their last away match on the Emirates. Tonight’s game for them is a fight for prestige so to speak. By all means they’re in a much better position than the currently 3rd in the group Arsenal. The merciless top scorer Robert Lewandowski with the support of his team will try to avenge his club’s honor.
It’s very difficult to come up with a clear an accurate prediction. To place a bet both teams to score and over 2.5 goals with odds of 2.6 or 13/8 looks like the right decision. Both squads play exceptionally well on the offence. However, for those of you who like to take sports betting to the next level we recommend you to back Arsenal with odds of 8.00 or 7/1. It may be a bold decision, but this is a great opportunity to catch bookmakers off-guard.
